This Privacy Policy explains how Yakubu Afuye (“I”, “me”) handles information when you use this website, yakubuafuye.com, or contact me about a project.
Who I am
Yakubu Afuye, a web developer based in Ogba, Lagos, Nigeria. You can reach me at hello@yakubuafuye.com or on WhatsApp at +234 803 371 9990.
What I collect
- Enquiry form: when you send the “Start a project” form, I collect your name and email address, and any phone number, organisation, project type, budget and message you choose to add.
- Messages: anything you send me by email or WhatsApp.
- Server logs: my hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.
How I use it
I use the details you send only to reply to you, prepare a quote and, if we work together, deliver and support your project. I do not sell your information or share it for marketing.
How it is handled
Form submissions are sent to my email inbox (hello@yakubuafuye.com). I keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them.
Payments
Online payments are handled by Flutterwave. If you pay through a payment link, your card and payment details are entered on Flutterwave’s secure checkout and are processed by Flutterwave under their own privacy policy — I never see or store your card details.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Other services
If you contact me on WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms. The site is served by my hosting provider, which processes technical data on my behalf.
Your choices
You can ask me for a copy of the information you have sent, or ask me to delete it, by emailing hello@yakubuafuye.com.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
